Opera Gala with the Athens State Orchestra

The Athens State Orchestra informs the public that, due to technical reasons, the scheduled Opera Gala on Friday, July 3, is being moved from the Lycabettus Municipal Theatre to the Christos Lambrakis Hall of the Athens Concert Hall. The concert will take place as scheduled, on the same date at 8:30 PM, with the same artistic program and performers.

Under the direction of the acclaimed conductor Ilias Voudouris, the Orchestra collaborates with two internationally distinguished Greek lyrical artists, soprano Myrto Papathanasiou and baritone Dimitris Platanias. The audience will have the opportunity to enjoy a special evening dedicated to the world of opera, with arias and duets from works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Giuseppe Verdi, Giacomo Puccini, Pietro Mascagni, and Ruggero Leoncavallo.

The relocation of the event to the Athens Concert Hall ensures the best possible conditions for the concert. The Athens State Orchestra thanks the public for their understanding and invites them to enjoy a refreshing evening of lyrical art.

Ticket holders will be informed by the Orchestra regarding their reservations.
