This distinction is a significant recognition of the Orchestra’s artistic quality and international presence, reaffirming its continuous commitment to interpretive development and the promotion of symphonic music creation. At the same time, it is another step towards promoting Greek art music beyond national borders, which also constitutes a large part of the Orchestra’s mission. The final award selections will be announced on May 15, and the Athens State Orchestra eagerly awaits the results, while expressing its warm gratitude to all contributors to the production.
