As a graduate of the Ilion Music School and a student of the Department of Music Studies at the University of Ioannina, he is actively involved in the study of musical interpretation and pedagogy. He began playing the piano and the Greek santouri at a young age, having performed on significant stages throughout Greece. His research interests focus on the theoretical study of the santouri as an instrument within the Western art music tradition, and the pedagogical approach to piano and santouri from preschool to adolescence.
