Erato Alakiozidou
Pianist
Erato Alakiozidou is a pianist with over thirty years of active artistic career and multifaceted involvement in contemporary music, artistic research, and chamber music. She is active in solo performances, ensembles, and interdisciplinary projects, with over 150 premieres of works by contemporary composers and participation in educational, research, and artistic endeavors. She studied in Greece and abroad, shaping her artistic identity through her apprenticeship with important pedagogues and piano schools. She is a professor at the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki, artistic director of the Music Diaries International Workshop Festival and the Municipal Conservatory of Pylaia-Chortiatis, a founding member of beArtive, a collaborator of the Athens Conservatoire, and a PhD candidate at the University of Aveiro.
