Maria-Anna Akrida is a student in the Department of Music Studies at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, specializing in Historical and Systematic Musicology, and a graduate of Alimos Music School. She began her musical journey with the Children’s Choir of the Greek National Opera, and subsequently studied piano and advanced music theory at the National Conservatory. Alongside her university studies, she is now focusing on Orchestra Conducting, studying under conductor Loukas Karytinos.
