Thodoris Iosifidis

Pianist - Philologist
He studied piano at the Trinity College of Music in London and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow, and Modern Greek Philology at the Faculty of Philosophy of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), where he has been a PhD candidate since 2024. His research interests focus on the connections between literature and music. He has written four plays and one libretto. His works have been staged at the Lyrical South festival of the Greek National Opera (GNO), the National Theatre, the Municipal and Regional Theatre of Kavala (DIPETHE Kavala), and the Ancient Theatre of Pleuron. As a pianist, he has performed at venues including St. Martin-in-the-Fields in London, the Edinburgh Festival Centre, the Athens Concert Hall, the “Parnassos” Literary Society, the Acropolis Museum, the Onassis Stegi, and the Alternative Stage of the Greek National Opera.
