The symphonic work “O! LIGHT UNSEEN – ODE TO OEDIPUS” by Periklis Koukos journeys…

The second stop, after Las Palmas in the Canary Islands, is Berlin. At Berlin's historic Konzerthaus, in two concerts on January 23 and 24, 2026, the iconic Konzerthausorchester will perform Periklis Koukos' four-movement symphonic poem for large orchestra.

The renowned conductor Konstantinos Karydis, to whom the work is dedicated, will be on the podium.

The two concerts in metropolitan Berlin will also feature Franz Liszt’s Piano Concerto No. 2 (soloist: Haochen Zhang), as well as Ottorino Respighi’s famous symphonic poems, Fontane di Roma and Pini di Roma.

ODE TO OEDIPUS, commissioned by the Chamber Orchestra of Europe and the Athens Festival, after its World Premiere at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus in July 2025, has been scheduled for a series of important concerts in major musical centers across Europe.
